The stack
seeds is the caboodle stack’s work tracker, and a member of the stack. It is built on the other tools:
| tool | what seeds uses it for |
|---|---|
| quipu | the store, embedded as a library: SPARQL reads, transactions, time travel, pendants |
| camayoc | the governance terms (Quechua sourceKind, outcome, blockedOn) and constraints every write is checked against; the ready query is meant to become one of its stored queries |
| caboodle | installs seeds and proves it in caboodle verify |
| desire-path | redirects bd to seeds, and records every verb seeds refuses |
| shuttle | formulas: the workflow engine that will stamp and drive seeds; a seed records its run today |
| yupana | not a runtime dependency; the counting board seeds are named after |
| bobbin | not a runtime dependency |
A crew harness can also use seeds as a work-item tracker alongside its others, through the same three-method tracker protocol. See How it works.
